Am I the only one who thinks that we're watching better and better quality video of worse and worse quality movies?

Blu-ray?  Seriously?  How much do you want me to pay to watch "White Chicks?"

I had a friend who was one of the first people I knew to get a DVD player.

His first DVD?  "The Waterboy"

wtf.
"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella?

I wonder what the first movie released on DVD was.  Google isn't being helpful.

Twister.

My wife was watching Twister on her laptop on a long drive once. You would be surprised how much of that movie is filmed from a lead car or chase car. Anyway, in the scene where they were in an argument and he had to jerk the car to the left to keep from hitting a mailbox, I drifted over to the right and jerked the car just as the action on the screen did the same thing. She freaked out.
